The Aspect of Life

          Have you ever had those time where you just listen to music and think about life? The things you've done, the mistakes you've made, the high points you've witnessed, the things that are in your future. Have you ever been thinking about a mistake that you have made that has just completely transformed your life? Have you ever put yourself down for that mistake? Have you ever had that feeling that you have your life and nothing is impossible from here on out? I know how you feel you said if you said yes. I've had those moments where i would break down in tears crying my eyes out because off something i've done in my past. I've been there. What is that keeps you going though? What is it that makes you wake up and tolerate everything that is going on? For me this thing that keeps me going is Gods love. God's love is so great and so precious that no matter what we have done in our lives, no matter what mistakes we have me, no matter what you are going through God's love is always there for you and for me. I was praying having one of those life thinking moments and i began to read 1 Timothy and this is what came to me. "I thank Him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because He judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, though formerly i was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. but i received mercy because i had acted in unbelief,and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in  Christ Jesus. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom i am the foremost. but i received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in Him for eternal life." -1 Timothy1:12-16 I know that was a lot but hang with me. God's love is so strong that no matter what we do He will never stop Loving us. I don't know about but thats awesome! He can take Your mistakes and use YOU as and example of his love. I encourage you to share your stories. You never know...the person right next to you may be going through that very thing you went through. That one person may need the love of God our Lord and Savior shared with them.

God's Tears

      Have you ever been in a worship setting or listened to a message that just caught your mind so strong that your throat starts to get tight. You feel like you cant breathe. You want to cry but you are afraid of what others will think. That's the kind of power God has. If you've ever had that feeling you know what I'm talking about. The first time i really gave my life to christ i was into drugs. I was messing around with alcohol. You name it i was probably around it. I went to a youth conference though that the message i received allowed me to feel that feeling. God presence was so strong that i could do nothing but cry. When i say i cry i'm not talking about the little tear hear tear there time deal. I was weeping like a baby. I had that throat tension feeling. I had that 'cant breath' feeling. That night i had saw something that i had never seen before. I saw a man that i had never seen before. That mans name was Jesus Christ!! Let me tell you a secret that have come to learn. When you have that feeling. When God's presence is so strong that you cant bear it don't be afraid to cry. If you are worried about what the people around you think....DONT BE!! If you are in God's presence who cares what other think! For all that you know the person right beside you may have the same feeling! The tears of God that flow through you in his presence aren't a sign of weakness but the beginning of newer and better things to come. Don't be afraid to cry.

The Poison of Relationships

In this generation, teenagers all over the world are getting into relationships at the earliest ages of 11 and 12 years old. Both guys and girls are losing their virginity at the earliest ages of 12 and 13 years of age. I don't know about you but to me....thats a serious problem!! Relationships like these are doing nothing but poisoning the minds of teenagers all across the world. God didn't make sex so that you could go around and do it with every guy in your school! God made sex for people who are married!! The poison of a bad relationship can tear a person to the ground! The poison of a bad relationship isn't something that you joke around with! Don't say "oh, it won't happen to me" or "oh, i will be alright man" I dare you to say that because the second you do it will happen to you. The very thing that you never in the world thought would happen just became a reality. Someone told me something one time about unhealthy relationships. They said once the money runs; once the alcohol runs out where is your so called boyfriend at? Where is your so called girlfriend at? They are not gonna be there! They will have done moved on to the next girl or next boy! See what you don't realize is that girlfriend or that boyfriend that you oh so love is not going to get you into Heaven! They are not gonna get you that eternal life that our Lord and Savior died and rose again three days later for!! If they can't do this then why make the effort to keep the relationship going when by God you know he/she is cheating on you!! Im telling you teenagers, if you are trying to live for God then the last thing you need to worry about is having girlfriend or boyfriend. If you fallow God then He will bring the one that you are meant to be with.

The Power of Worship

You know that feeling you have when you go to a concert or anything like that at your church or at a youth conference. That knot like feeling you get in your throat. That feeling of freedom. That feeling like nothing else matters. This is the most powerful feeling a person could ever have in their entire life. The power of worship is so powerful that it is indescribable. When you are surrounded by your brothers and sisters in Christ and all of you are lifting up your hands crying out God majestic name its the best feeling. Worship is one of the main keys in your walk with your Christ. When you have went through a tough week of school or work. When you have lost someone that you dearly love. When things have just completely fallen apart and you feel like you have nothing left.....God is there. At these time when you have no hope, no courage, no strength to keep going on...look to God. Worship God. Cry out to you Lord and Savior! Give you problems to God! If you cry out to God when things are at their worst......If you look to God when you need direction and guidance He will answer!! See God doesn't just handle the big problems first and then come back for you. That is not the case! When you cry out to God...He Answers!! So this week i challenge you, whatever problems you may be going through....whatever struggles or temptations you may be facing....give them to God. If you ask God for light and direction i know 100% he will answer your prayers!! Try it and see what God will do in your life.

The Past Is Over

All across the world there are different cultures, religions, traditions, etc. It is said that everyone is different in their own way and this is true. I've found one thing that everyone on the planet has in common though and its a past. You cannot beat it. Everyone has a past. Yes some of you might have been good little children that done everything you were suppose to and some of you might have been the one that you always got in trouble. Which every it may be you have that. You don't have the ability nor power to change what you might have done in your darkest days....But God can. You see God is the creator of this world. You made the ultimate sacrifice and sent his only son to die for me and for you. He know that each and every person would slip up and fall but by Jesus Christ being sent to the cross to save us from the pits of Hell, all we have to do is ask for forgiveness! You can just be the person that slips up and says a dirty word every once in a while or you could be the person that dropped out of high-school and sells drugs on the streets...it doesn't matter to God! He doesn't look at a person's action for judgment. God looks at their hearts. If you have the audacity to take that first step of faith and say, "God, I have messed up!", then your past will be wiped clean. If you pray this you will have everything you desire along with eternal life with your savior. You know mistakes can really break a person in half and people im telling you if you get drunk every night and do drugs its not gonna fix the pain you feel. I know of a cure though and his name is Jesus Christ!! Something that always helps me when the devil put my past on my mind is i just keep telling myself, "My chains are gone! I have been set free!!" I want to tell you right now ladies and gentlemen....Your chains are gone!! You have been set free!!
